About NESZ

The National Education Summit of Zimbabwe (NESZ) is a high-level national platform designed to drive the transformation of Zimbabwe’s education system through policy implementation, innovation, and strategic investment.

Building on the foundation of the National Education Conference and Expo (NECE), NESZ brings together government, educators, private sector leaders, financiers, development partners, and innovators to align efforts, mobilise resources, and deliver measurable impact in education.

Our Journey: From Dialogue to Delivery

The Summit is the evolution of the National Education Conference and Expo (NECE), launched in 2023 as a collaborative platform for stakeholder engagement in education

  • 2023 (NECE 1st Edition): Established a national dialogue on education quality, infrastructure, and innovation
  • 2024 (NECE 2nd Edition): Introduced solution-driven discussions on financing, digital learning, and teacher development
  • 2025 (NECE 3rd Edition): Expanded into a nationally recognized platform attracting senior government officials, private sector leaders, and international partners

In 2026, this journey culminates in the National Education Summit of Zimbabwe—a strategic shift from dialogue to implementation, designed to deliver real, actionable outcomes.
